General
What kinds of software do you build?
Practically anything that runs on a screen or a server: websites, web apps and business software (even banking and finance software, ERPs, school or hospital systems), native Android apps (Kotlin or Java, Jetpack Compose or XML layouts), desktop software for Windows and Linux, Linux server tools, AI features and automations, and connections between the tools you already use. We don't build iPhone apps at the moment (Apple requires a Mac and a paid developer account for that).
Do I own the code and the design?
Yes, completely. Code, designs, domain and hosting accounts are in your name, and you can take them to any developer at any time.
What do you build with?
For websites and web apps, mostly hand-written HTML, CSS and JavaScript with Python and Django behind them, and PostgreSQL for data. Android apps use Kotlin with Jetpack Compose (or Java and XML layouts for existing apps). Desktop software uses C#/.NET, Electron or Tauri. We pick the simplest tools that do the job well, so your software stays fast and maintainable.
Will people find my website on Google, and in ChatGPT or Gemini?
Every website we build is set up for search from day one: fast pages, clear titles and descriptions, a sitemap, Google Search Console and Bing, your Google Business Profile, and structured information that tells Google and AI assistants exactly what you do, where, and for how much. Nobody can promise the top spot, but we make sure nothing technical holds you back, and we show you what helps most after that: reviews, and useful pages that answer your customers' questions.
Do you work with clients outside India?
Yes. We agree a few overlapping hours for calls, and the rest happens by email, chat and the weekly preview link.
Pricing & payments
How much does a website cost?
Business websites start around ₹25,000, online stores around ₹70,000, web apps around ₹1,20,000, desktop software around ₹1,50,000 and Android apps around ₹2,50,000. For websites there are also three ready-made packages with fixed prices: Silver ₹25,000, Gold ₹60,000 and Platinum ₹1,75,000. The estimator on the pricing page gives a quick range for anything else, and the proposal gives a fixed price.
How do payments work?
In three parts: 40% when you accept the plan and sign the agreement (so the work can start), 40% once you've approved the designs, and 20% at launch. The Silver package is simply half at the start and half at launch. Monthly work is billed at the start of each month. Indian clients can pay by UPI or bank transfer; international clients by card, PayPal or Wise.
What happens if something breaks after launch?
Every project includes 30 days of free fixes. After that, bugs in our own code are still fixed free. New features, changes and problems caused by others are quoted first, or covered by a monthly care plan.
What are the running costs after launch?
Hosting for most small sites is ₹500–1,500 a month, a domain about ₹1,000 a year, and AI features usually a few hundred rupees a month with a hard cap. We set everything up in your name and explain the costs before we start.
Process
How long does a project take?
A simple website takes 2–5 weeks, an online store 5–8 weeks, a web app 6–12 weeks and a phone app 8–16 weeks. You get a firm timeline in the proposal before anything starts.
Is there an agreement to sign?
Yes, a short one in plain English, signed by both of us before any work starts. It lists what we'll build, the price and when each part is paid, the timeline, what the 30 days of free fixes cover, and that the code, designs and accounts are yours once the last payment is made. You can sign it on paper or online.
How involved do I need to be?
A kick-off call, feedback on the designs, and a quick look at the preview link each week. About an hour a week is usually enough.
Can you publish my app on Google Play?
Yes. The app is published under your own Google Play developer account (Google charges a one-time $25), so it belongs to you. We handle the whole submission and review process.
Do you build iPhone apps?
Not at the moment. Building and publishing iPhone apps needs a Mac and a paid Apple developer account, so for now we focus on Android, the web and Windows. A mobile-friendly web app works on iPhones in the meantime.
AI
Can you add AI to my existing website or software?
Yes. Assistants that answer from your own content, document Q&A, data extraction from invoices and forms, smart search and automations can be added to most existing systems, not just new ones.
Is AI safe for my customers' data?
We use providers that don't train their models on your data by default, send only what's needed, and keep sensitive information out. Assistants answer only from approved information and hand anything sensitive to a human.
Will AI costs get out of hand?
No. Every AI feature has daily and per-person limits, so the worst case is known in advance. Most small businesses spend a few hundred rupees a month.
Words you might see
What's the difference between Jetpack Compose and XML layouts?
They're two ways of building Android screens. XML layouts are the classic way most existing apps use; Jetpack Compose is Google's newer, faster way to build them. New apps use Compose, and older XML apps can be maintained or moved to Compose screen by screen.
What's a web app?
A website you log in to and work in, like online banking or a booking system, rather than one you just read.
What do SaaS and MVP mean?
SaaS (software as a service) is software people rent monthly through a browser, like Zoom or Canva. An MVP (minimum viable product) is the smallest first version that's genuinely useful, so you can launch, learn and improve without spending everything up front.
What is two-step login?
After the password, you type a 6-digit code from an app on your phone. A stolen password alone can't get in.
What's an API or a webhook?
An API is a door one program uses to ask another for data. A webhook is a doorbell: one system instantly tells another that something happened, like a payment or a booking, so nobody has to copy it across by hand.
